Job summary

Rashmi Metaliks is seeking a skilled Electrical supervisor to oversee high-voltage distribution systems at mining operations in West Bengal. The role requires installing, operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment rated up to 11 kV, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

You will supervise surface substations, transformers, switchgear, and distribution panels, conducting routine checks and emergency fixes while ensuring compliance with licensing and mining standards.

Qualifications

• ITI in Electrician trade or Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Must have valid electrical supervisor license applicable for mines (mining HT installations 650 V to 11 kV).
• West Bengal electrical board certification for electrical supervisor license (mining) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees safe installation, operation and maintenance of high-voltage power distribution systems.
• Install surface substations, overhead/underground trailing cables, and distribution panels up to 11 kV.
• Conduct routine checks and emergency fixes on transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and lighting towers.
• Manage ground switching and power shifting safely across active bench operations.

Job description

Preferred candidate profile

ITI in Electrician trade or Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Electrician with adequate Exp. with Valid electrical supervisor license applicable for mines. (For Mining HT installations exceeding 650 V & up to 11 KV)(West Bengal electrical board certification for electrical supervisor license (mining )
