Job summary

sln Powersol is seeking a qualified Site Engineer / Project Engineer to manage and supervise project execution across infrastructure, electrical, MEP, Railway, and solar projects. You will oversee site supervision, coordination, quality control, safety, and timely completion per drawings and client requirements.

The role requires coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams, plus documenting progress, material reconciliation, and handovers.

Job description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Site Engineer / Project Engineer to manage and supervise project execution activities across infrastructure, electrical, MEP, Railway, and solar projects. The candidate will be responsible for site supervision, technical coordination, quality control, safety compliance, resource management, project documentation, and timely completion of project activities as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and client requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Supervise daily site activities, monitor project progress, ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications, and achieve project milestones within scheduled timelines.
• Technical Coordination: Review engineering drawings, electrical layouts, SLDs, BOQs, and method statements. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Installation & Commissioning: Supervise electrical, MEP, infrastructure, and solar PV installation activities, including cables, switchgear, transformers, solar modules, inverters, and associated equipment, as applicable.
• Quality Control: Conduct site inspections, verify material quality and workmanship, maintain inspection records, and ensure compliance with project quality standards.
• Safety Compliance: Implement HSE procedures, monitor PPE usage, conduct safety inspections, and ensure adherence to client and statutory safety requirements.
• Manpower & Material Management: Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. Monitor material availability, consumption, reconciliation, and resource utilisation.
• Project Documentation & Billing: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports; maintain site records; verify executed quantities; and support BOQ reconciliation, RA billing, as-built drawings, and handover documentation.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, CMRL representatives, consultants, vendors, utility authorities, and subcontractors to facilitate approvals, inspections, and smooth project execution.
• Testing & Handover: Coordinate testing, commissioning, rectification of pending issues, completion inspections, and final project handover.

Required Skills & Experience

• Relevant experience in site execution, project engineering, electrical, MEP, infrastructure, or solar projects.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Strong project coordination, problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office; AutoCAD and project planning tools are an advantage.
• Willingness to work at project sites and travel or relocate as per project requirements.

Work Location: Mumbai, Sindhudurg, Hyderabad, or Ahmedabad, based on project requirements.
