Univastu India LTD in India is seeking an Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee electrical and electronic installation activities at the project site, ensuring execution per drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and project schedules.

Responsibilities include reading electrical drawings, coordinating with contractors, monitoring installation and testing, ensuring compliance with method statements, maintaining progress reports, and liaising with project management.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, layouts and technical specifications.
• Coordinate installation of electrical equipment, panels, cables, lighting systems and distribution networks.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, technicians and site teams for smooth execution.
• Monitor cable laying, cable termination, earthing and electrical equipment installation.
• Coordinate installation and testing of electrical and electronic systems.
• Ensure work is executed per approved method statements and project standards.
• Monitor progress and ensure activities align with the project schedule.
• Check materials received at site against approved specifications and BOQ requirements.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and testing of installations.
• Identify site issues and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Prepare daily progress reports and site documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and other engineering teams regarding progress and requirements.
• Maintain coordination between electrical, civil, mechanical and other site activities.
• Monitor contractor manpower, work quality and productivity at site.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and project specifications.
• Participate in testing, commissioning and handover activities as required.
• Maintain records of drawings, measurements, inspections and site activities.
• Support project planning and quantity verification.

Job Purpose

To supervise and coordinate electrical and electronic installation activities at the project site, ensuring execution as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise and monitor day-to-day electrical and electronic site execution activities.
2. Execute electrical installation work as per approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
3. Coordinate installation of electrical equipment, panels, cables, lighting systems and power distribution systems.
4. Read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, layouts and technical specifications.
5. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, technicians and site teams for smooth execution.
6. Monitor cable laying, cable termination, earthing and electrical equipment installation.
7. Coordinate installation and testing of electrical and electronic systems.
8. Ensure all work is executed as per approved method statements and project standards.
9. Monitor work progress and ensure activities are completed as per the project schedule.
10. Check materials received at site against approved specifications and BOQ requirements.
11. Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections and testing of electrical installations.
12. Identify site issues, technical discrepancies and drawing-related problems and coordinate for timely resolution.
13. Prepare daily progress reports, site reports and other project documentation.
14. Coordinate with the Project Manager and other engineering teams regarding project progress and requirements.
15. Ensure proper coordination between electrical, civil, mechanical and other site activities.
16. Monitor contractor manpower, work quality and productivity at site.
17. Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and safety procedures.
18. Participate in testing, commissioning and handover activities as required.
19. Maintain proper records of drawings, measurements, inspections and site activities.
20. Support project planning, quantity verification and preparation of work completion documentation.Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

Experience in Metro Rail, Railway, Infrastructure, Construction, MEP, Industrial Projects or Electrical EPC Projects will be preferred.
