Job summary

JobItUs in Maharashtra is seeking a hands-on Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician with experience servicing CNC, VMC and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs). The role combines electrical troubleshooting with mechanical repair to maximise machine uptime and safety.

You will diagnose CNC controllers (Fanuc, Siemens or Mitsubishi), read schematics, maintain drives, hydraulics, lubrication systems, and perform calibration and alignment.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of proven experience in breakdown and preventive maintenance of heavy manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to switch between electrical and mechanical problem-solving and follow safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Electrical: diagnose CNC controllers, servo drives, and VFDs; interpret schematics and wiring diagrams; test and replace electrical components; ensure proper grounding and safety compliance.
• Mechanical: troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems; overhaul mechanical assemblies (ball screws, LM guideways, spindles); perform geometry checks, axis alignment, leveling, calibration; maintain lubrication systems and coolant pumps.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician with hands‑on expertise in servicing CNC, VMC, and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs). The ideal candidate will possess a strong balance of both electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills, capable of isolating complex faults to their root cause to ensure maximum machine uptime and operational safety.

Key Responsibilities - Electrical:

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting CNC controllers (Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi), servo drives, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics, relay logic, and wiring diagrams to trace circuit faults.
• Testing and replacing electrical components, including contactors, sensors, limit switches, and safety interlocks.
• Ensuring proper machine grounding, panel cooling, and electrical safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities - Mechanical:

• Troubleshooting and maintaining industrial pneumatic systems and hydraulic power packs (valves, cylinders, and actuators).
• Overhauling and replacing core mechanical assemblies, including ball screws, LM guideways, and spindle bearings.
• Performing critical machine geometry checks, axis alignment, leveling, and calibration.
• Maintaining and repairing centralized lubrication systems, coolant pumps, and chip conveyors.

Requirements:

• Education: ITI or Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience in breakdown and preventive maintenance of heavy manufacturing machinery.
