Role Description

The Electrical Maintenance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This role is responsible for maintaining and servicing electrical systems, equipment, and machinery within the manufacturing facility to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, diagnosing and resolving electrical issues, executing preventive maintenance plans, and supporting production teams with timely repairs. The specialist will also monitor equipment performance, maintain maintenance records, and collaborate with other technical staff to reduce downtime and improve plant reliability. Adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies is a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Electrical Maintenance and Electricity, with the ability to work safely on industrial electrical systems.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Electrical Troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve faults in equipment and control panels.
• Experience with Preventive Maintenance, including planning and executing scheduled inspections and servicing of electrical machinery.
• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field from a recognized institution.
• Hands-on experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably in food processing or similar sectors.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards, local regulations, and best practices in plant maintenance.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
