Job summary

Oriental Rubber Industries is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Officer to oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems at our Koregaon Bhima facility. Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 38 years of relevant industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience in a rubber, tyre, polymer, plastic, chemical, or other process/manufacturing plant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in rubber processing machinery, including mixers, mills, extruders, calenders, presses, curing systems, conveyors.
• Maintain lighting, power distribution, earthing, DG sets, UPS systems, and electrical safety systems.
• Monitor electrical parameters and identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption.
• Plan and execute preventive-maintenance schedules and maintain maintenance records.
• Attend emergency breakdowns and restore equipment safely with minimum production downtime.
• Coordinate with production and mechanical maintenance teams during equipment repairs and shutdowns.
• Ensure availability of critical electrical spares and maintain minimum stock levels.
• Supervise electrical technicians, contractors, and maintenance workers.
• Analyze recurring breakdowns and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain maintenance reports, breakdown history, checklists, and equipment documentation.
