Job summary

Everest Industries in Uttarakhand (Haridwar) seeks an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to manage shop-floor electrical upkeep, commissioning of equipment, and both preventive and predictive maintenance of assets including LT panels, transformers and motors. You will lead VFD-related oversight and drive KAIZEN and 5S on the plant floor.

You will coordinate commissioning, programming and breakdown handling to minimize downtime, improve MTBF/MTTR, and support plant modification projects

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance of machines on the shop floor.
• Commissioning of equipment and ensuring timely project completion.
• Planned/preventive/predictive maintenance of critical and non-critical equipment.
• Siemens Logic & HMI design and configuration.
• Leading commissioning, programming, maintenance, breakdown handling of VFDs.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with electrical maintenance (preventive, periodic & breakdown handling) of machines, shop floor administration.
• Anchoring commissioning of equipment and ensuring completion of project in minimum turnaround time with effective resource utilization.
• Facilitating planned/preventive/predictive maintenance of critical and non-critical equipment.
• Reducing breakdowns to enhance productivity and improve MTBF/MTTR and reduce tool cost.
• Executing systematic maintenance of LT panels, transformers, breakers and motors, and other starters.
• Active involvement in plant modification projects for better quality and higher productivity.
