Job summary

JK Engineers Techpro is seeking an experienced E&I Lead to head and develop the electrical & instrumentation engineering team for projects in India. You will define project E&I scope, coordinate across departments and with clients and vendors, and ensure adherence to QA and HSE standards.

The role requires capability to drive deliverables within schedule and budget. You will oversee technical reviews, support pre-order engineering, and prepare weekly/monthly status reports, with exposure to

Responsibilities

• Independently leading and managing teams of E&I engineers
• Planning and defining the complete E&I scope in each Project / Pre-order
• Resource planning and developing an E&I Team to meet the project schedule
• Managing E&I based project Risks and issues
• Co-ordination with cross functional departments in ensuring the project E&I deliverables are on time and within budget
• Co-ordination with clients, sub-vendors and other project stakeholders for smooth functioning of E&I department
• Attending various meetings with client / Vendor / Internal department during project execution on situational demand
• Ensure adherence to QA and HSE policies and procedures
• Review of Project Specifications
• Review of P&I Drawings
• Review of E&I engineering deliverables
• Review of purchase requisitions for instrumentation and electrical equipments / components
• Conduct Departmental review meeting
• Overall E&I Hardware Estimation for procurement (Cable, Cable Tray, Cable Glands, junction box, PDB & Etc.)
• Inter-Team coordination with various discipline (Project/package/Procurement/Design / Production)
• E&I Technical support to proposal Team for Pre-Order engineering
• Preparation/Review of Weekly / Monthly reports of project status
• Responsible for overall departmental operations in line with Health and Safety Management System
• Ensure the audit observations are completed within the time frame Takes part in major accident / incident investigation & the implementation of control measures
• Exposure to Saudi Aramco/ADNOC/PDO/KOC/Shell Dep/ONGC company specifications would be considered as added advantage
• Exposure to Area Classifications, Applicable international codes (IEC/ATEX/NEC), accepted engineering practices would be considered as added advantage
• Exposure with SIL, HAZOP study and its requirements would be preferred
