Burns & McDonnell India is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and draft electrical and control systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities. You will model 3D electrical and instrumentation equipment in Revit, and develop 2D LV/MV drawings for layouts using Revit and AutoCAD.

The role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience and strong English communication. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate with Burns & McDonnell offices to ensure design quality

Formación

• Bachelor of Engineering/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering required.
• 2–3 years of experience in electrical design for water/wastewater facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Plant 3D for electrical design and coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design and drafting of construction drawings for electrical and control systems in water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• 3D modelling of electrical & instrumentation equipment in Revit.
• 2D design and detailing for LV/MV one-line drawings, equipment layouts, cable trays, conduit, duct banks, and panels using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design coordination and standards compliance.
• Coordinate with multiple Burns & McDonnell offices for project execution and consistency.
• Support development of innovative design solutions and continuous improvement in design practices.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, project schedules, and client expectations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and drafting of construction drawings for electrical and control systems in industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities.

• 3D modelling of electrical & instrumentation equipment in Revit.

• 2D design and detailing for medium and low voltage one-line drawings, layout of electrical equipment, cable tray, conduit, duct bank, area classification, panel design, motor schematics, wiring diagram, grounding system, lighting systems, and instrumentation layout using Revit and AutoCAD.

• Collaboration with engineers and designers across multidisciplinary teams to ensure design coordination and compliance with project and industry standards.

• Coordination with multiple BMcD offices for project execution and design consistency.

• Support development of innovative design solutions and contribute to continuous improvement in design practices.

• Ensure all deliverables meet defined quality standards, adhere to project schedules, and client expectations.

Qualifications

Education :

Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering

Experience :

Years of Experience: 2-3 years

Technical Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Plant 3D for Electrical design and coordination.

• Experience in industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment projects.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
