Job summary

Engati Technologies Inc. is seeking an Electrical Site Engineer to manage and execute electrical works at client sites in Pune. The role involves planning, coordinating with mechanical and civil teams, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

You will interpret drawings, prepare estimates, and liaise with clients and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery. Strong technical knowledge and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Solid technical understanding of electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic & detailed engineering for earthing pits and electrical installations.
• Ensure protection systems are properly implemented and maintained.
• Lead and monitor all electrical works at the site.
• Prepare estimates and allocate resources like manpower, materials and tools.
• Interpret drawings, review contracts and applicable standards before work.
• Plan and coordinate electrical works with mechanical and civil teams.
• Liaise with client/consultant representatives for instructions and inspections.
• Submit daily/weekly reports and monitoring documentation.
• Coordinate electrification, erection and commissioning with electrical contractor.
• Provide complete electrical solutions as required.
• Perform cable sizing, routing (overhead/underground) and scheduling.
• Prepare quotations for site additions and changes.
• Check workmanship and material quality against approved specs.

Job description

• Basic & detailed engineering for the provision of earthing pits for electrical installations.
• Proper protection system for all electrical installations.
• Generally responsible for implementation and monitoring of all electrical-related works at the site.
• Estimates prepare and assign the resources, such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all electrical and related works prior to execution.
• Interprets construction drawings and studies the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications before the execution of any jobs.
• Plans the execution of all electrical-related works and coordinates the works with mechanical and civil groups.
• Coordinates with the client's or consultant’s representatives for any site instructions and inspections of works.
• Submits site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates, and all applicable monitoring reports on a regular basis or as required.
• Coordinated with the electrical contractor for electrification, execution, erection, & commissioning.
• To provide the entire electrical solutions as per requirement.
• Cable size calculation cable scheduling, and route selection, overhead or underground.
• Site Additional Work: Preparation and Sending the Quotation
• Checking the Workmanship and material Quality as per approved make and standard work for the Right quality and standard work
• Daily & Weekly work Progress Report Preparation and Keep the Record
• Updating of material stock & Weekly Material Requirements.
