Job summary

Onward Technologies is looking for an Electrical LV Switchboard Design Auditor to join their team in Pune District, India. The role involves designing and auditing LV electrical distribution equipment, including Switchboards and Panelboards, ensuring all documents meet UL standards.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of direct experience in reviewing electrical designs and must be proficient in complex drawing reviews and material requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in reviewing electrical designs of LV switchboard.
• Hands on experience with LV electrical distribution equipment.
• Ability to confirm accuracy of drawings and documents.

Responsibilities

• Design and audit LV electrical distribution equipment like Switchboard & Panelboards.

Role & Responsibilities

Electrical LV Switchboard Design Auditor

• Hands on design and audit experience of LV electrical distribution equipment like Switchboard & Panelboards, MCC/PCC Panels as per UL891 requirements.
• Hands on experience in calculations and selections of different switchgear, Busbar sizing, Enclosure selection, protection relays, CTs & PTs.
• Confirms all drawings/documents are 100% accurate based on customer specifications, UL standard requirements.
• Able to review a variety of complex drawings (Electrical + Mechanical) and bills‑of‑material based upon established product designs for the switchboard product line.
• Able to review entire bills of material (BOM) to ensure correct material demand requirements for purchased and self-manufactured components.
• Experience in using NEMA & UL Standards while designing panelboards and switchboards.
• Minimum 2 years experience in reviewing electrical designs of LV switchboard is a must.
