Job summary

Aretè & Cocchi Technology is seeking a BE-educated electrical engineer to lead design activities for high/medium/low voltage systems. You will support substation and plant layouts, perform protective studies, and ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, and IEEE standards.

You will develop layouts, perform lighting calculations, prepare take-offs, and guide 2D/3D designers while reviewing vendor documentation and site support tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering is required.
• Experience in electrical distribution design and substations.

Responsibilities

• Review and recommend 2D/3D activities, ensuring compliance with IEC, NEC, IEEE standards
• Design electrical distribution (HV/MV/LV), power generation, grounding, and lighting systems
• Perform system studies, cable/equipment sizing, and protection scheme design
• Develop substation layouts, plant electrical layouts, and lighting calculations (AGI 32, Luxicon)
• Prepare Material Take Offs, purchase requisitions, data sheets, and bid evaluations
• Guide designers in 2D/3D coordination; check and approve design deliverables
• Conduct vendor document reviews, inspections, and support post-order/site activities
• Implement engineering solutions and provide site support
