Job summary

ITC Limited in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to lead design and review of electrical distribution for industrial, commercial and residential projects. You will prepare single-line diagrams with protection and metering, and perform detailed calculations for transformers, DGs, UPS and related equipment.

You will ensure compliance with NEC/NBC/IS/IEC/UL standards using AutoCAD Electrical, Etap and DIALux.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 6+ years' experience in Electrical Design for industrial/commercial/residential projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, Etap, DIALux desirable; familiarity with NEC/NBC/IS/IEC/UL standards.

Responsibilities

• Good understanding of complex power calculation and estimation.
• Design and review of electrical distribution systems for industrial, residential and commercial buildings.
• Preparation/checking of single line diagrams with protection and metering requirements.
• Calculation for major equipment such as transformers, DGs, capacitor banks, UPS, batteries, etc.
• Design calculations for earthing, lighting, cable sizing, cable tray/trench sizing, and fire alarm/systems.
• Vendor document review and familiarity with electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
