Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer with 3 to 5 years of industrial experience to manage electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, reliability improvement, and automation systems within the plant. The candidate should possess hands‑on experience in DCS (Distributed Control System) operations and maintenance, along with working knowledge of SAP PM Module for maintenance planning, reporting, and spare management.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance
- Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for electrical equipment.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of HT/LT systems, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, PCCs, motors, VFDs, and UPS systems.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults to minimize plant downtime.
- Monitor the health and performance of critical electrical assets.
DCS & Automation
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain DCS systems and associated field instruments.
- Coordinate with instrumentation and production teams for smooth control system operation.
- Analyze DCS alarms, trends, and process disturbances and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in DCS modifications, upgrades, loop checking, and commissioning activities.
- Support automation improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
SAP Maintenance Management
- Create and close maintenance notifications and work orders in SAP PM.
- Maintain equipment master data and maintenance history records.
- Plan preventive maintenance schedules using SAP.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate material requisitions through SAP.
Reliability & Improvement
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve equipment reliability.
- Identify opportunities for energy conservation and cost reduction.
- Participate in plant shutdown planning and execution.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and company standards.
- Follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures and permit-to-work systems.
- Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency response activities.
- Ensure statutory compliance related to electrical installations and operations.
