Job summary

Saipem is seeking an experienced electrical designer to develop 2D drawings from 3D models and verify installation drawings in line with IEC, NEC and IEEE standards.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong AutoCAD/MicroStation skills, and proficiency in PDMS/SP3D for 2D/3D deliverables, including MTO quantities and cable sizing.

Qualifications

• Experience of 5+ years in electrical drafting and project design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, PDMS, SP3D for 2D/3D models.
• Extraction from 3D models and preparation of 2D drawings.
• Familiarity with IEC, NEC, IEEE codes and regulations.
• Knowledge of MTO quantities for power, lighting, and earthing layouts.

• Extract data from 3D models to create 2D drawings.
• Prepare MTO quantities for power, lighting, and earthing.
• Participate in model reviews and coordinate corrections.
• Power cable selection and sizing.
