Job summary

Greytip Software Private Limited in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to lead data centre project design from IFC/GFC to Shop Drawings and As-Built. You will review SLDs, load schedules and BIM models, ensuring clash-free, constructible outcomes.

The role requires 5–6 years in data centre design and strong AutoCAD/Navisworks skills, with coordination across clients, consultants, vendors and site teams.

Qualifications

• Strong Data Centre Critical Power and Electrical Distribution knowledge.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Navisworks for BIM coordination.
• Minimum 5–6 years of Data Centre design experience, preferably end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Review SLDs, load schedules, calculations, layouts and electrical specifications.
• Prepare and review shop drawings; manage design development from IFC/GFC to Shop Drawings.
• Review BIM models and ensure clash-free, constructible design.
• Coordinate with Client, Consultant, PMC, Vendors and site teams.
• Provide technical support during construction, testing and commissioning.
• Mentor the Electrical Design/BIM team and ensure timely design deliverables.

Job description

• Review SLDs, load schedules, calculations, layouts, equipment sizing and electrical specifications.
• Prepration of engineering calculations
• SHop drawing preparation & reviews
• Manage design development from IFC/GFC to Shop Drawings, As-Built and LOD 500.
• Review BIM models, shop drawings and ensure clash-free, constructible design.
• Coordinate with Client, Consultant, PMC, Vendors, Subcontractors and Site teams.
• Review TDS, vendor drawings, technical proposals, BOQ/MTO and design variations.
• Provide technical support to site during construction, testing & commissioning.
• Ensure timely closure of design issues and support project handover/as-built documentation.
• Lead and mentor the Electrical Design/BIM team and manage engineering deliverables.

Required Skills

• Strong Data Centre Critical Power & Electrical Distribution knowledge.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/ Navisworks

Preferred Experience

Minmum 5-6 yrs of Experience in Data Centre preferably covering design/ COmpleted his bachlers
