SES Projects Pvt. Ltd. in Chandkheda, Ahmedabad, is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimation & Design Engineer with strong MEP experience to lead cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and design of LV systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

The role involves preparing techno-commercial proposals, reviewing drawings and tender documents, and coordinating with procurement and project teams to ensure compliance with IS/IEC/NBC standards and timely tender submissions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Prepare detailed BOQs and quantity take-offs.
• Estimate material, labour, and project costs for electrical works.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals and cost comparisons.
• Coordinate with procurement and project execution teams during tender stage.
• Identify project risks and recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Design LV electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
• Prepare SLDs, load schedules, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and panel schedules.
• Design lighting, power distribution, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
• Prepare detailed electrical layouts and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
• Ensure compliance with IS, IEC, NBC, and other applicable standards.
• Coordinate with MEP teams for integrated services.
• Analyse tender documents and prepare technical deviations, clarifications, and compliance statements.
• Prepare technical submittals and material specifications.
• Assist Business Development and Tender teams during bid submissions.
• Maintain estimation records, vendor databases, and project documentation.

Job Summary

SES Projects Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Estimation & Design Engineer with experience in MEP projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, electrical system designs, technical proposals, and tender documentation while ensuring compliance with applicable standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Estimation

• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and quantity take-offs.
• Estimate material, labour, and project costs for electrical works.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals and cost comparisons.
• Coordinate with the procurement and project execution teams during the tender stage.
• Identify project risks and recommend cost-effective solutions.

Design

• Design Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), load schedules, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and panel schedules.
• Design lighting, power distribution, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
• Prepare detailed electrical layouts and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
• Ensure compliance with IS, IEC, NBC, and other applicable standards.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, HVAC, ELV, and Civil teams for integrated MEP services.

Tender & Documentation

• Analyse tender documents and prepare technical deviations, clarifications, and compliance statements.
• Prepare technical submittals and material specifications.
• Assist the Business Development and Tender teams during bid submissions.
• Maintain estimation records, vendor databases, and project documentation.

Required Skills
