Qualifications

• Experience in electrical design/estimation for LV MCC/MV switchgear.
• Ability to read, understand and evaluate electrical schematics.
• Prepare technical RFQ packages (SLD, General Arrangement, control schematics, EBOM).
• Familiarity with IEEE, ANSI, UL485, CSA and NEMA standards for LV/MV switchgear.

Job description

• Some experience in electrical design/estimation for LV MCC / MV Switchgear and systems
• Experience with Siemens/ABB/Eaton/Schneider Switchgear a bonus
• Ability to analyze technical specifications and apply appropriate product solutions to meet customer expectations efficiently and timely
• Ability to read, understand and evaluate electrical schematics to identify errors or potential improvements
• Able to understand & prepare technical RFQ packages (SLD, General Arrangement, control schematics, standard schematics, EBOM)
• Familiarity with IEEE, ANSI, UL485, CSA and NEMA standards for LV / MV Switchgear
• Proven ability to create, convert & modify drawings with Promise, AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, ELCAD software
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
