Job description

Role Description The Electrical Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara. This position is responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and components for various projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing electrical schematics and layouts, sizing equipment, planning power distribution, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans. The role also involves reviewing technical specifications, supporting project documentation, assisting in cost and material estimations, and participating in design reviews and quality checks. The Electrical Design Engineer will work closely with project managers and other engineers to deliver accurate, timely, and efficient design solutions.

• Strong skills in Electrical Design and Design Engineering, with experience creating schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of AUTOCAD is a must. e3/ ePlan knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Solid foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, including understanding of electrical principles, calculations, and safety standards.
• Practical knowledge of Power Distribution systems, including load calculations, panel schedules, and coordination of distribution networks.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proficiency with relevant design and CAD software tools used for electrical engineering projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings, codes, and standards, and to apply them to real-world design scenarios.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site.
• Prior experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure electrical projects is beneficial.
