Job summary

SHRI KRISHNA PLACEMENT in Vadodara seeks an Electrical Design Engineer with 5–10 years of experience in HV/MV/LV design and ELV systems for oil and gas projects. You will prepare single line diagrams, load lists, equipment specs, datasheets, layouts, and cable schedules, ensuring compliance with IS/IEC/IEEE/NEC standards.

Proficiency in ETAP or equivalent software is required, along with ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with vendors.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate electrical engineer with 5–10 years in design.
• Experience in HV, MV and LV systems for Oil & Gas.
• Knowledge of IS/IEC/IEEE/NEC standards and hazardous areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare single line diagrams and load lists.
• Prepare equipment specifications and datasheets.
• Prepare electrical layouts and cable schedules.
• Perform cable/tray sizing calculations.
• Prepare tender documents and BOQ; evaluate technical bids.
• Develop lighting drawings; review vendor drawings.
• Knowledge of hazardous area requirements and heat tracing.
• Exposure to ELV including CCTV/PA/BMS is a plus.

Job Description : Design experience in HV, MV and LV system design and ELV System and ELV System. CPG experience preferred, Hands on experience in design of electrical deliverables Should be able to work in multiple projects. Knowledge of various international codes such as IS. IEC, IEEE and NEC Experience in working on projects abroad e.g. USA, Gulf will be an added advantage. Exposure to HT and LT system design. Preparation of Single line diagrams and Load list Preparation of Electrical equipment specification and datasheet. Preparation of Electrical layout Preparation of Electrical calculation like cable sizing, tray sizing Preparation of cable schedules, DB schedules etc. Lighting design using software and preparation of lighting drawings. Preparation of Tender document and BOQ Technical bid evaluation and Vendor drawing review Knowledge of Hazardous area requirements, Heat Tracing System Design, Cathodic protection system, etc. will be helpful. Knowledge of ETAP or equivalent software. Knowledge of ELV (including the CCTV, ACS PA system, BMS system, IT & Telephone) Exposure to design standards of Food plant will be desired. Knowledge for field instrumentation and PLC is added advantage. Knowledge for Dairy Plant and pharma is added advantage.
