Job summary

L&T Technology Services (LTTS) seeks a Sr Lead - Electrical in Vadodara to drive design of HV, MV and LV electrical systems for industrial plants. The role involves hands-on deliverables, multi-project coordination, and leadership of a 4–6 member team.

Knowledge of IS, IEC, IEEE and NEC codes is essential, with exposure to HT/LT design, electrical layouts, and tender documentation. ETAP expertise is highly valued for simulations and project execution.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of various international codes such as IS, IEC, IEEE and NEC.
• Exposure to HT and LT system design is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design activities for HV, MV and LV systems across projects.
• Prepare single line diagrams, loads lists, cable sizing and layouts.
• Prepare electrical equipment specifications, datasheets and tender docs.
• Coordinate with vendors and perform technical bid evaluations.
• Lead a team of 4 to 6 engineers and designers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Design experience in HV, MV and LV system design, CPG/Dairy/Pharma experience preferred, Hands on experience in design of
• electrical deliverables.
• Should be able to work in multiple projects.
• Knowledge of various international codes such as IS. IEC, IEEE and NEC
• Experience in working on projects abroad e.g. USA, Gulf will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to HT and LT system design.
• Preparation of Single line diagrams and Load list
• Preparation of Electrical equipment specification and datasheet.
• Preparation of Electrical layout
• Preparation of Electrical calculation like cable sizing, tray sizing
• Preparation of cable schedules, DB schedules etc.
• Lighting design using software and preparation of lighting drawings.
• Preparation of Tender document and Bill of Quantity.
• Technical bid evaluation and Vendor drawing review
• Knowledge of Hazardous area requirements, Heat Tracing System Design, Cathodic protection system, etc. will be helpful.
• Knowledge of ETAP or equivalent software.
• Exposure to design standards of Food plant will be desired.
• Experience in clean room electrical requirement is added advantage
• Working level knowledge for filed instrumentation and PLC system.
• Handelling team of 4 to 6 engineers and designers
