ABB’s Distribution Solutions Division in Nashik, India, is hiring an electrical design engineer to create and modify standard designs of MV switchgear and related equipment, with emphasis on compliance to contract specifications and safety standards.
You will prepare BOMs, schematics, SLDs, and manufacturing releases, work with manufacturing and testing, and participate in design reviews. Strong English communication and hands-on experience with EPlan are preferred.

This Position reports to:
Designer
In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and modify the standard designs of equipment, systems, or installations, including standard specifications for manufacturing, fabrication, or construction, using standard design concepts. Each day, you will design engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to contract specifications. You will also showcase your expertise by contributing to design reviews and design verification and modifying the design, as necessary.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Distribution Solutions division at Nashik, India.
