Job summary

Tekskills Inc. seeks a P&C Design Engineer to contribute to electrical design across multiple projects in hybrid locations in India. You will prepare technical specifications, select equipment, and coordinate with Protection/Controls and Civil teams for on-time delivery.

You will develop Electrical Diagrams (SLDs, schematics, interlocking), cable schedules for HV/LV/DC, and assist with system studies (P28/29, ENA G5/5, G99). Safety and CDM compliance are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical design of projects and equipment selection.
• Ability to prepare SLDs, schematics, cable schedules.
• Experience coordinating with Protection/Controls and Civil designers.
• Knowledge of ENA G5/5 and G99 compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical design aligned to project timescales.
• Prepare technical specifications and select electrical equipment.

• Prepare Electrical Diagrams such as SLDs, schematics, interlocking.
• Prepare Cable Schedules for HV, LV and DC cables.
• Manage site communications design with the controls designer, including SCADA.

• Provide technical support to the Design Coordinator on progress.
• Prepare PGMD for clients G99 applications.
• Prepare design risk assessments ensuring safety and CDM compliance.

Job Title: P&C Design Engineer

Location: Hyderabad/ Coimbatore/ Chennai / Bangalore / Pune (Hybrid)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all electrical Design aspects of a project in line with the project timescales
• Preparing technical specifications and selecting electrical equipment for the project
• Coordinating the electrical design and liaising with the Protection/Controls and Civils designers.
• Preparing Electrical Diagrams such as (SLDs, AC/DC Schematics, Interlocking, Block and Multicore Diagrams.
• Preparing Cable Schedules and Calculations (HV, LV & DC cables)
• Managing the site communications design with the control’s designer, Including Multicore and SCADA design.
• Assisting in the preparation of the system studies (P28/29, ENA G5/5,G99 Compliance)
• Liaising and providing technical support to the Design coordinator so the Client can be informed on the progress of the design.
• Assisting with preparing PGMD for the clients G99 Applications.
• Preparing Design risk assessments ensuring that the design is safe and in line with the relevant Health and safety and CDM regulations.
