Job summary

Tekskills Inc. is seeking a P&C Design Engineer to support electrical design activities across multiple projects in a hybrid work setup (Hyderabad/Coimbatore/Chennai/Bangalore/Pune).

The role involves creating technical specs, selecting equipment, and coordinating with protection, controls, and civil designers. The candidate will produce electrical diagrams (SLDs, AC/DC schematics), cable schedules, and system studies (G99/G5/5).

Qualifications

• Assist with all electrical design aspects of a project in line with project timescales
• Prepare technical specifications and select electrical equipment for projects
• Coordinate electrical design and liaise with protection/controls and civils designers
• Prepare electrical diagrams including SLDs, AC/DC schematics, interlocking, and block/multicore diagrams
• Prepare cable schedules and calculations for HV, LV & DC cables
• Manage site communications design with controls designer, including multicore and SCADA design
• Assist in preparation of system studies (P28/29, ENA G5/5, G99 compliance)
• Liaise and provide technical support to design coordinator to inform client progress
• Assist with preparing PGMD for clients’ G99 applications
• Prepare design risk assessments ensuring compliance with health and safety and CDM regs
