Job summary

Umanist NA is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with 8–15 years of experience to lead complex Electrical/MEP design for building and infrastructure projects. The role involves independent design, client communication, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate will manage Electrical/MEP design tasks, perform calculations, and ensure compliance with NEC, CPWD and international standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant Electrical/MEP Design experience in a consulting/design environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience in Electrical Design, Electrical Distribution and Lighting Design.

Responsibilities

• Independently design and deliver complex Electrical/MEP design projects.
• Prepare and review electrical designs for electrical distribution, lighting and cabling systems.
• Coordinate ELV systems (Fire Alarm, PAVA, CCTV, SCS) and ensure code compliance.
• Perform electrical calculations and ensure designs meet codes and standards.
• Support RFP/estimation activities and project planning.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate with international clients.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with strong expertise in Electrical/MEP Design for complex building and infrastructure projects.

The role involves independently handling complex electrical design assignments, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, supporting project planning and execution, and communicating with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
