Job summary

Vrinda Global is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to develop detailed MEP system designs in line with project specs, industry standards, and client requirements. You will handle design development, technical documentation, multidisciplinary coordination, and provide design support during execution.

The role requires 5–8 years of MEP design experience, strong skills in AutoCAD/Navisworks, and knowledge of electrical/ELV/HVAC/PHE/FF systems. Revit MEP and ETAP are considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in MEP system design.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical, ELV, HVAC, PHE, or Fire Fighting systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Knowledge of design calculations, engineering principles, applicable codes, and standards.
• Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed designs, layouts, schematics, and calculations for Electrical, ELV, HVAC, PHE, or Fire Fighting (FF) systems.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Prepare and review BOQs, technical submittals, equipment specifications, and material requisitions.
• Coordinate with architects, structural teams, and other MEP disciplines to ensure proper integration of designs.
• Use AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant software for design and drafting.
• Resolve technical queries from clients, vendors, subcontractors, and site execution teams.
• Conduct design reviews and quality checks to minimize errors and ensure timely submission of deliverables.
• Provide technical support to procurement, site execution, and commissioning teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve design quality, cost-effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
