Job summary

Integrated Personnel Services is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in Chennai with 7–12 years of experience to design protection schemes, single-line diagrams, and substation layouts. The role involves plant-area layout preparation, cable trench routing, grounding, and lighting calculations using AGI 32 and Luxicon.

You will develop lighting schemes, perform bulk estimation and MTO for power and earthing systems, prepare PRs/datasheets, evaluate bids, and guide 3D modeling and 2D drafting

Qualifications

• Design of protection schemes and single-line diagrams.
• Development of substation layouts.
• Preparation of plant area layouts including cable trench/tray routing, earthing, and lighting.
• Working knowledge of lighting calculations using AGI 32 and Luxicon.
• Expertise in lighting schemes and control guidance.

• Preparation of purchase requisitions and datasheets.
• Technical bid evaluation report preparation.
• Guidance on 3D modeling and 2D drafting in coordination with other disciplines.
• Vendor drawing reviews for compliance and accuracy.
