Job summary

RGBSI is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to develop electrical schematics, interfaces and control circuits in line with US/Europe standards. The role involves design validation, component selection and collaboration with stakeholders to optimize cost, reliability and manufacturability.

You will contribute to new product families, improve design methodologies, and ensure on-time delivery and FPY through precise reporting and rigorous verification.

Qualifications

• Electrical knowledge on circuits design.
• Experience in design and verification of SLD, control panel, junction box, motor circuits.
• Electrical control circuits design using AutoCAD (Electrical) or AutoCAD and SolidWorks Electrical.
• Experience in Power & Load Calculation and Analysis.
• Electrical circuit Component selection viz. Circuit Breakers, Switch Gear, Contactors, Sensors etc.
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirement specification and propose cost effective Electrical and Electronic components.
• Design of Electrical Schematics; contribute to design methodology and automation; assist production and manufacturing; verify process and ensure standards per customer spec.
• Understand design/value engineering work for new product family to set industry standards in low-cost production, low energy consumption, and ease of style upgrades.
• Develop GA, IA, SLD, Control circuit & Schematic Drawings.
• Review Electrical & Interface models, PID drawings, control cabinet assembly drawings, BOM per customer/manufacturing requirements.
• Prepare reports and maintain On-Time Delivery (OTD) and First Pass Yield (FPY) outputs via reports.
• Prepare detailed schematics with appropriate Electrical Standards based on US and Europe.
• Attend regular meetings with Stakeholders and gather inputs to identify correct solutions.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the requirement specification and process, propose cost effective Electrical and Electronic components.
• Design of Electrical Schematics. Contribute new ideas to enhance both the design methodology, automation etc. assistance to production and manufacturing, verification of process and due diligence to standard as per customer specification.
• Understand the design/value engineering work on new product family, to set new industry standards in low-cost production, low energy consumption, and ease of producing style upgrades.
• Development of GA, IA, SLD, Control circuit & Schematic Drawings
• Complete review of the Electrical & Interface (E&I) models, PID drawings, Electrical control cabinet assembly drawings, BOM w.r.t customer drawing/ manufacturing requirements/ performance/ standards.
• Preparation of reports and maintaining OTD (On-Time Delivery) and FPY (First Pass yield) on the outputs by creating reports.
• Prepare detailed schematics with appropriate Electrical Standards based on US and Europe.
• Attend regular meetings with Stakeholders and get the input to identify the correct solutions.
