Job summary

RGBSI in Pune is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to develop schematics and ensure compliance with customer specifications while proposing cost-effective components. You will drive design improvements for low-cost production and work across multiple disciplines.

You will create GA, IA, SLD, control diagrams, and review E&I models. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outputs on time, following international standards.

Qualifications

• Electrical design with circuit verification.
• Experience in SLD, control panels, junction boxes, and motor circuits.
• AutoCAD (Electrical) or AutoCAD and SolidWorks Electrical for design.
• Power/load calculation and analysis.
• Component selection: breakers, switchgear, sensors, etc.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirement specs and propose cost-effective electrical components.
• Design electrical schematics and contribute to improved design methodologies.
• Review E&I models, PID drawings, and BOM per customer/production needs.
• Develop GA, IA, SLD, control circuits and schematics drawings.
• Prepare reports and maintain On-Time Delivery (OTD) and FPY outputs.
• Prepare detailed schematics with electrical standards for US/Europe.
• Attend meetings with Stakeholders to identify optimal solutions.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the requirement specification and process, propose cost effective Electrical and Electronic components.
• Design of Electrical Schematics. Contribute new ideas to enhance both the design methodology, automation etc. assistance to production and manufacturing, verification of process and due diligence to standard as per customer specification.
• Understand the design/value engineering work on new product family, to set new industry standards in low-cost production, low energy consumption, and ease of producing style upgrades.
• Development of GA, IA, SLD, Control circuit & Schematic Drawings
• Complete review of the Electrical & Interface (E&I) models, PID drawings, Electrical control cabinet assembly drawings, BOM w.r.t customer drawing/ manufacturing requirements/ performance/ standards.
• Preparation of reports and maintaining OTD (On-Time Delivery) and FPY (First Pass yield) on the outputs by creating reports.
• Prepare detailed schematics with appropriate Electrical Standards based on US and Europe.
• Attend regular meetings with Stakeholders and get the input to identify the correct solutions.
