A technology solutions firm in Bengaluru seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to support the Systems Division with various design and development tasks. You will be responsible for designing electrical wiring circuits and panels using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, while also assisting production teams as needed. Candidates must possess strong electrical circuit design skills and experience in creating detailed schematics to meet customer specifications, with an emphasis on cost efficiency and low energy consumption.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of electrical circuits design.
• Experience in design and verification of control panel and motor circuits is required.

Job description

About role :

The role is work related to the Systems Division, Conyers, Georgia which manufactures Rack systems. The person is responsible for supporting Electrical Team to design Electrical Wiring circuits, panels, drawings using Solid Works Electrical, AutoCAD and support the Production and Manufacturing Team as per the requirement. There is also a responsibility to work in Schematics to support the NPD/DTV Team on need basis. Apart from these, must support for other Divisions like Doors, Case and Specialty on need basis.

Role & responsibilities

• Understand the requirement specification and process, propose cost effective Electrical and Electronic components.
• Design of Electrical Schematics. Contribute new ideas to enhance both the design methodology, automation etc. assistance to production and manufacturing, verification of process and due diligence to standard as per customer specification.
• Understand the design/value engineering work on new product family, to set new industry standards in low-cost production, low energy consumption, and ease of producing style upgrades.
• Development of GA, IA, SLD, Control circuit & Schematic Drawings
• Complete review of the Electrical & Interface (E&I) models, PID drawings, Electrical control cabinet assembly drawings, BOM w.r.t customer drawing/ manufacturing requirements/ performance/ standards.
• Preparation of reports and maintaining OTD (On-Time Delivery) and FPY (First Pass yield) on the outputs by creating reports.
• Prepare detailed schematics with appropriate Electrical Standards based on US and Europe.

Attend regular meetings with Stakeholders and get the input to identify the correct solutions.

Mandatory Skills

• Electrical Knowledge on Circuits Design
• Experience in Design & verification of SLD, Control Panel, Junction Box, Motor Circuits
• Electrical Control circuits design using AutoCAD (Electrical) or AutoCAD and SolidWorks Electrical.
• Experience in Power & Load Calculation and Analysis.
• Electrical circuit Component selection viz. Circuit Breakers, Switch Gear, Contactors, Sensors etc.
