Job summary

Good Enough Energy in Noida/Greater Noida is seeking an Application Engineer to lead client engagements, analyze energy storage needs, and design BESS solutions that are technically sound and financially viable.

You will coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams, install and commission equipment, troubleshoot control systems, and ensure safety standards while contributing to continuous improvement in energy storage projects.

Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Electrical or related engineering field.
• Experience with electrical installation and maintenance preferred.
• Experience with BESS, industrial automation, or power systems preferred.
• Proactive, customer-facing and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, test, and maintain electrical equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot motors, VFDs, panels, PLC, HMI/SCADA, and sensors.
• Support preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Perform wiring, cabling, termination, and system integration.
• Support BESS-related systems including PCS, EMS, monitoring, testing, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams for project execution.
• Maintain technical documentation and commissioning/testing reports.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency initiatives.

Position: Application Engineer, BESS Solutions

Minimum Experience:2-5 Years

Location: Noida/G.Noida

About the position

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Application Engineer to lead client engagements, analyze energy storage needs, and deliver customized Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions. The role involves a blend of technical expertise, customer coordination, and financial insight to design solutions that are both technically superior and financially viable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.


• Troubleshoot motors, VFDs, electrical panels, PLC, HMI/SCADA, sensors, relays, and control systems.


• Support preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.


• Perform panel wiring, cable laying, termination, testing, and electrical system integration.


• Support BESS-related systems including PCS, EMS, electrical monitoring, testing, and commissioning.


• Conduct fault-finding and root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.


• Coordinate with vendors, technicians, and cross-functional teams for project execution and maintenance.


• Maintain technical documentation, maintenance records, testing reports, and commissioning reports.


• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.


• Support continuous improvement, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Electrical Installation & Maintenance.


• Hands-on experience with SLD, PLC, VFD, HMI/SCADA, control panels, motors, and electrical equipment.


• Knowledge of DG, transformers, LT panels, battery systems, solar/power systems will be an advantage.


• Basic understanding of BESS, PCS, EMS and grid-connected systems preferred.


• Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, analytical, and coordination skills.


• Ability to work independently as well as with technical teams.

Qualification

B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, , Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.

Preferred Profile

Candidates with experience in BESS, industrial automation, manufacturing plants, electrical O&M, installation & commissioning, or power/energy systems will be preferred.
