Job summary

PeopleStrong in Maharashtra, India seeks an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to lead policy development, risk assessment, training, and environmental management in compliance with ISO 14001 standards.

You will coordinate audits, drive safety initiatives, and report findings to management while promoting a proactive safety culture for employees and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Technology (BTech) or Master of Technology (MTech) in a relevant field.
• Experience in developing EHS policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and reporting.
• Experience with hazard identification, risk assessments, and root cause analysis.
• Experience in environmental management, audits, and sustainability initiatives.

• Job Description1) Policy & ComplianceDevelop and implement EHS policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely reporting.
• 2) Risk Assessment & Safety ManagementConduct hazard identification and risk assessments.Implement control measures to minimize workplace risks.Lead incident/accident investigations and root cause analysis.
• 3) Training & AwarenessOrganize EHS training programs for employees and contractors.Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.Conduct safety drills (fire, evacuation, emergency response).
