Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an experienced EHS professional to lead environment, health and safety initiatives across utilities, process and construction domains. The role requires 8–10 years’ hands-on experience and deep knowledge of ISO 14001 & 45001 standards.

Essential qualifications include a Diploma/Degree in engineering and an Advanced Diploma or Post Diploma in Industrial Safety with minimum 60% marks. You will implement EHS programs, conduct trainings, audits and ensure regulatory

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in EHS within utilities, process or construction sectors.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor EHS policy, programs, and procedures.
• Train staff on safety laws, regulations, hazards, and PPE use.
• Identify unsafe practices and conditions via inspections and audits.
• Ensure maintenance of firefighting equipment and PPE.
• Increase health and safety awareness across the organization.
• Monitor EHS legal compliance and report findings to IC Head.
• Coordinate safety personnel training, including first aid and accident investigation.
• Impart EHS training and workshops; ensure adherence to SOP/EHS manuals.
• Liaise with clients and consultants on EHS matters.

Job Description

You should have 8-10 years’ experience with in-depth understanding of EHS standards including ISO 14001 & 45001 at Utilities/Process/Construction industries.

Essential Qualification: Dip/Degree in any Branch of Engg. and Advance Diploma/Post Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by State Tech Edu Board (TEB) or B Tech/Master’s in Industrial Safety Engg. With throughout minimum 60% marks

Responsibilities:

• Implementing and monitoring Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Policy, Programs, and Procedures
• Conducting and ensuring worker/staff training in such as safety Laws and Regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment.
• Facilitate Identifying and eliminating unsafe practices and unsafe conditions through inspections and audits.
• Ensuring regular maintenance of all firefighting equipment, personal protective equipment and all other safety gadgets.
• Increasing health and safety awareness at all levels within the organization.
• Monitoring the compliance of all the EHS legal requirements and presenting the findings to IC Head.
• Coordinating the training of safety personnel, including first aid, CPR, accident prevention and investigation, workplace inspections and other matters related to implementing safety procedures.
