Growth For Impact is seeking an on-site EHS Engineer to implement OHSE frameworks at the Data Centre client site in Airoli, Mumbai. You will work with internal and external teams to drive safety improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include creating safety programs, audits, and training campaigns; maintaining EHS metrics; and supporting site-wide safety initiatives under the guidance of the EHS Manager.

• Read, understand, and implement the Data Centre Client at Airoli’s OHSE framework at the ground/site level
• Work cooperatively with internal and external teams to complete tasks and implement process improvements
• Create, enact, and update job safety programs for employees in line with government health and safety regulations
• Represent safety function during customer visits and audits at the site level
• Maintain statutory compliance for EHS at the site level
• Maintain periodic EHS MIS and share reports with Site Manager/DC Manager
• Track all safety observations through to closure
• Conduct risk assessments and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Organize and run training programs, safety week/month campaigns, and awareness drives
• Support the EHS Manager in rolling out site-wide safety initiatives and compliance requirements for the Data Centre Client at Airoli

ROLE

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate engineer in Electrical or Mechanical stream
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in relevant EHS domain
• Awareness of ISO certifications such as QMS, ITSM, ISMS, BCMS, EnMS, EMS, OHSE, etc.
• Strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively across internal and external stakeholders
• Sound understanding of HIRA preparation, incident investigation, and RCA methodologies
• Working knowledge of statutory EHS compliance requirements
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor while supporting team‑wide safety objectives
• Proactive mindset with focus on continuous improvement and process enhancement
