Role Description

The Overseas Academic Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. The advisor will guide students through the entire study abroad process, including course and university selection, application preparation, and documentation support. Daily responsibilities include conducting student consultations, assessing academic profiles, advising on suitable study destinations, and coordinating with international institutions and internal teams. The advisor will organize and facilitate mock interview sessions, provide pre-departure counseling, and ensure students understand visa procedures and admission requirements. The role also involves maintaining accurate student records, delivering presentations at seminars, and contributing to continuous improvement of advisory processes and student experience.

Qualifications

• Strong student counseling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand academic goals and recommend suitable programs and destinations.
• Knowledge of international education systems, admissions processes, and visa procedures for countries such as the UK and Canada.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present information clearly in one-on‑one and group settings.
• Organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple student cases, documentation, and deadlines effectively.
• Comfort with online tools and platforms for virtual consultations, mock interviews, and record‑keeping.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, or international relations is an advantage.
