Job summary

CanKids KidsCan is seeking an Education Officer in Mumbai to oversee the CanShala – School in a Hospital program. You will manage Centre operations across Maharashtra, implement targeted educational interventions and track student progress, ensuring U-DISE registration and reintegration into formal schools.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Education Management / School Management / Project Management / Remedial Education / Special Education.
• Experience in teacher training and community workshops.
• Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working with children in difficult or vulnerable circumstances will be an advantage.
• Strong documentation, reporting and data-tracking skills.
• Willingness to travel across Maharashtra.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of CanShala centres in Maharashtra.

About the Role
