Principal – Educational Leadership

Summary

The Principal serves as the cornerstone of our educational mission, tasked with overseeing all classroom operations, driving curriculum innovation, and maximizing student learning outcomes. This pivotal role involves guiding teachers through mentorship, monitoring academic progress, and curating a diverse range of extracurricular programs to foster a comprehensive educational environment. A critical component of the position is facilitating the successful reintegration of students into formal schooling systems. Furthermore, the Principal acts as a central hub for collaboration, working closely with social workers, dietitians, psychologists, and the broader support network to ensure holistic student well-being. The role also demands the creation of effective learning strategies and strict adherence to all educational regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

• Instructional Leadership and Supervision
  • Oversee daily classroom activities to guarantee the delivery of high-quality education.
    
  • Safeguard the safety and welfare of children throughout their entire day, from arrival and meals to departure.
    
  • Manage Personalized Education Plans (PEPs), including the tracking of individual student progress and necessary follow-ups.
    
  • Design and refine teaching processes to better align with the unique needs of the student body.
    
  • Encourage and monitor the adoption of innovative pedagogical approaches by the teaching staff.
    
  • Ensure the seamless delivery of diverse educational services, including formal, non-formal, and therapeutic programs, alongside scholarship administration.
    
• Student and Faculty Development
  • Collaborate with social workers and mental health professionals to support student emotional and psychological well-being.
    
  • Lead and facilitate professional development workshops and mentoring initiatives for teachers.
    
  • Organize and chair monthly review meetings with teaching and support staff to discuss performance and strategies.
    
• Community Engagement and Compliance
  • Plan and execute student events, including celebrations, field trips, and excursions.
    
  • Develop and oversee extracurricular and therapeutic learning modules.
    
  • Maintain rigorous standards for tracking attendance and performance metrics for both staff and students.
