Job summary

CanKids seeks an experienced educator to manage teaching protocols for cancer patients in hospital wards. You will ensure basic learning, etiquette, and hygiene for children, helping them reintegrate into the formal education system after treatment.

The role requires diploma/degree in education, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to coordinate with hospital teams. Knowledge of Excel/Word is advantageous, and the position is hospital-based in India.

Responsibilities

• Teaching basic education in the CHSU/ wards/School room in hospitals.
• Conduct Online Classes as per the schedule and maintain the records.
• Implementation of face to face PEP program.
• Forming age-specific groups for learning like 3yrs-9yrs, 9yrs-12yrs, 12yrs-above.
• Designing and executing lesson plans that will engage students.
• Designing assessments that thoughtfully evaluate student progress.
• Varying teaching strategies and styles to meet different learning needs.
• Providing a positive environment to engage students in the learning process.
• Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with students, parents, community, and the school team.
• Attending and participating in all organizational training and meetings.
• Making them aware about basic hygiene care and teaching basic etiquettes.
• Counseling kids and establishing a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to kids.
• Advising them for further counseling to the senior counselor if they are not able to understand.
• Making children aware of the Education Scholarship Program, filling up the form for the same and sending it to HQ.
• Prepare and submit the Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annual reports.
• Coordinating time to time for Education activities.

Job Description

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

This departmentof education represents education outside of a standard school setting. Formaland Informal Education is the wise, respectful and spontaneous process ofcultivating learning. It works through conversation, and the exploration andenlargement of experience. Informal education has activities with children.They will help the children to learn basic education, etiquettes and hygienefactors.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Manageteaching protocol for cancer patients within wards. Ensure creative, basiclearning, basic etiquettes, hygiene for kids and diverting their mind andhelping them to learn and be happy. Ensure curriculum-based learning is imparted to children in order toensure they are prepared to reintegrate into the standard Education system inIndia after completion of their treatment cycle.
