Job summary

Career Vidya Edu Tech is seeking an enthusiastic counsellor to guide students and working professionals through course options, admission steps, and fees. You will manage inquiries via calls, WhatsApp, and other channels while aligning recommendations with career goals.

You will track leads in the CRM/MIS, follow up consistently, and drive admissions toward monthly targets in a collaborative Ed-Tech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in online/offline education counselling/admissions.
• Background in Ed-Tech or higher education preferred.
• Graduate in any discipline; counselling experience helps.

• Counsel students and professionals on courses, universities, fees, and admissions.

Role & responsibilities

• Counsel students and working professionals regarding suitable courses, universities, eligibility, fees, and admission procedures.
• Handle leads through calls, WhatsApp, and other online communication channels.
• Understand students' career goals and recommend relevant educational programs.
• Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
• Maintain regular communication with students throughout the admission process.
• Explain course structure, specialization, duration, examinations, and other relevant details.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly counselling and admission targets.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, conversions, and admissions in the CRM/MIS.
• Resolve student queries and coordinate with the backend/operations team when required.
• Stay updated about university programs, eligibility criteria, fees, and admission policies.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in online and offline education counselling/admissions will be preferred.
• Candidates from Ed-Tech, Education, Online/Distance Learning, or Higher Education backgrounds are preferred.
• Graduate in any discipline; relevant education/counselling experience will be an advantage.
