Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking an experienced E-commerce Operations professional to manage and optimize our platforms (SAP Commerce, BigCommerce) and drive end-to-end SAP e-commerce initiatives.

You will maintain product data, monitor performance, and execute merchandising campaigns to improve conversions. Collaborating with IT, product, and marketing teams, you will enhance user experiences, create training materials, and produce regular reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in e-commerce or digital commerce.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Commerce (Hybris) and BigCommerce.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce operations and workflows.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage recurring reports and scripts daily and weekly.
• Support development of customer portals and enhancements to the digital experience.

Job description

E-commerce Operations (Core Responsibility)

• Manage and optimize e-commerce platforms (SAP Commerce, BigCommerce, or similar).
• Support end-to-end SAP e-commerce initiatives, including BigCommerce-to-SAP migration and website releases.
• Maintain product catalog accuracy, including pricing, descriptions, and digital content.
• Monitor website performance, user journeys, and conversion metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
• Execute merchandising strategies, promotions, and online campaigns.
• Drive UX/UI improvements to enhance overall customer experience.
• Collaborate with IT, product, and marketing teams to implement platform enhancements.
• Maintain and update platform documentation, including user guides and training materials.
• Generate and manage recurring reports and scripts on a daily and weekly basis.
• Support development of customer portals and enhancements to overall digital experience.

Digital Experience & Content Development

• Develop, edit, and deliver digital learning materials (e.g., procedures, videos, interactive content) for customers and partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve the customer journey across digital touchpoints.
• Support website design improvements to better meet customer and partner needs.

Digital Marketing Support (Preferred)

• Provide support on digital marketing initiatives such as SEO, SEM, email, and paid media, as needed.
• Contribute to optimizing website and campaign content to enhance traffic, engagement, and conversion.
• Assist in reviewing campaign performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Reporting & Analytics (Preferred)

• Support reporting activities using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate insights for decision-making.
• Maintain data accuracy and consistency across systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in e-commerce or digital commerce roles.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Commerce (Hybris), BigCommerce, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, workflows, and best practices.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to digital marketing (SEO, paid media, and content strategies).
• Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM reporting tools.
• Experience in B2B or industrial sectors.
