Job summary

Mosaic Wellness is seeking a Finance Reporting and Corporate Finance professional in Thane to strengthen our financial control and strategic reporting. You will drive monthly closings, consolidate accounts, and oversee FP&A, MIS, and KPI analysis across product lines and channels.

The role requires CA with 6–8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably from Ecommerce/D2C or FMCG startups, and hands-on experience with IND AS and regulatory compliance.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Finance Reporting and Corporate Finance professional to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will bring 6 to 8 years of hands on experience spanning financial reporting, statutory audits, and FPNA. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity of our financial statements, driving insightful management reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures, ensuring accurate recording of accruals, prepaid expenses, amortization, and other adjustments.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive Management Information Systems MIS with accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop and analyze P and L statements across product lines, channels online vs. offline, and brands.
• Build and maintain financial dashboards and executive-level reports for senior management and board visibility.
• Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs to track business health and flag emerging risks early.
• Handle consolidation of accounts and intercompany eliminations across group entities.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis on budgets vs. actuals, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions.

Accounting and Audit Compliance

• Prepare audit-ready financial statements in compliance with IND AS and Indian GAAP requirement and coordinate statutory audits liaising with Big 4 or audit firms.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure all documentation is audit ready at all times.
• Manage compliance with developed processes, SOPs, documentary controls, and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal control.

3. Business Partnering

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Product Development) to understand their financial needs and constraints
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support departmental decision-making
• Facilitate discussions between finance and business units to align financial goals with operational realities
• Communicate complex financial concepts in a clear, actionable manner to non-finance stakeholders

4. Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to streamline financial reporting and analysis processes
• Implement best practices in financial management and contribute to operational efficiency
• Ensure adherence to internal financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements

Maintain data integrity and develop audit ready documentation

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant CA mandatory.
• 6 to 8 years of post qualification experience in financial reporting, audits, and FPNA.
• Prior experience in Ecommerce, D2C, FMCG, or a high growth startup is highly desirable.
• Experience of IND AS, Indian GAAP, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Experience in managing Audits independently.
• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.

• Experience with AI tools and finance automation example workflow automation, AI-driven analytics, RPA will be a plus.
