Job Description – E-commerce Executive (Fresher)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic E-commerce Executive – Fresher to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for managing product catalogues, maintaining accurate product information across e-commerce platforms, and supporting day-to-day marketplace operations.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets, product data, images, and online marketplaces and has a strong eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain product catalogues across e-commerce platforms.
• Create and update product listings, including product titles, descriptions, specifications, pricing, SKUs, and other relevant information.
• Upload and manage product images, banners, and other catalogue assets.
• Ensure product information is accurate, complete, and consistent across platforms.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as design, content, inventory, and sales for catalogue-related requirements.
• Monitor product listings and identify missing, incorrect, or outdated information.
• Maintain and update Excel/Google Sheets for product data, SKUs, pricing, inventory, and catalogue tracking.
• Assist with product onboarding and delisting across marketplaces.
• Support marketplace operations and resolve basic catalogue-related issues.
• Track product performance and prepare basic reports whenever required.
• Ensure all listings follow the required marketplace guidelines and standards.
• Assist the team with other day-to-day e-commerce and marketplace activities.

Requirements

• 0–2 year of experience;
• Graduate in any discipline.
• Basic knowledge of E-commerce and online marketplaces is preferred.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple products/tasks and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working with large amounts of product data.
• Basic understanding of SKU, product catalogue, pricing, inventory, and product listings is an advantage.
• Candidates with internship/project experience in E-commerce, Marketplace Management, Cataloguing, Operations, or Digital Commerce will be preferred.
