Job summary

Nature Magic World is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage marketplace reconciliations, bookkeeping, and GST compliance for its online retail operations.

The role requires 2–5+ years, strong Excel and SAP B-1 proficiency, and solid knowledge of multi-state GST and marketplace fees. You will work with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely payments and audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; CA Inter/CPA a plus.
• 2–5+ years of hands-on accounting experience in online retail or D2C.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and SAP B-1 exposure.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state GST rules and marketplace commissions.

Responsibilities

• Marketplace Reconciliation: reconcile payouts, deductions, fees, and logistics claims from platforms.
• Bookkeeping & Accounting: maintain ledgers, vendor invoices, and manage accounts receivable/payable SAP B-1.
• Accounts Receivables: manage data for pending payments and send reminders.
• Ledger Reconciliations: reconcile vendor and customer ledgers.
• Tax Compliance: handle GST, TDS, and digital sales tax filings with audit documentation.

Role & responsibilities

• Marketplace Reconciliation: Reconcile daily/monthly payouts, commission deductions, shipping fees, and logistics claims from platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, or quick-commerce apps. [1, 2]
• Bookkeeping & Accounting: Maintain accurate general ledgers, record vendor invoices, and manage accounts receivable/payable SAP B-1
• Accounts Receivables: Manage up to date data for pending payments and send reminders
• Ledger Reconciliations: Reconcile Vendor and customer ledgers periodically.
• Tax Compliance: Handle GST, TDS, and digital sales tax filings alongside audit documentation

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA Inter/CPA is a plus).
• Experience: 2 to 5+ years of hands‑on accounting experience, preferably within an online retail or D2C environment.
• Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and working knowledge of ERP software like SAP B-1
• Domain Knowledge: Strong grasp of multi-state GST rules, marketplace commission structures, and chargeback dispute handling.
