Job summary

Aptiv is seeking an ECAD engineer (Librarian) to support automotive OEMs by delivering a best-in-class electronics component library for PCB design across product families. The role focuses on maintaining schematic symbols and geometry cells and ensuring on-time execution with high-quality standards.

You will collaborate with local and remote engineering teams, follow the Electrical Design Process, and continually develop professionally while protecting confidential information.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Electronics/EC Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with PCB libraries and library maintenance.
• Experience with schematic symbol creation and verification within ECAD tools.

Your Role An ECAD engineer (Librarian) guides Aptiv’s automotive OEM customers in having the best in class electronics by delivering quality component library to carry out PCB designs for wide range of products

Your Background

• Working towards a Bachelors/Masters in Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Communication Engineering
• 5-8 years of experience in the PCB component librarian role
• Hands on experience in ECAD tools preferably Mentor graphics Xpedition tool flow
• Good English skills (both spoken and written)
• Communication skills
• Problem Solving Skills

Good To Have

• Familiarity with Automotive PCB design exposure
• Knowledge on High speed simulations
• Knowledge on Electronic circuit design
