Job summary

Aptiv seeks a Product Owner in Bengaluru with 14+ years of embedded software experience to drive automotive programs from concept to production. You will elicit requirements, translate them into user stories, and lead cross-functional teams across time zones and cultures.

Strong knowledge of ISO 26262, ASPICE, and quality assurance is essential. You will define backlogs, timelines, budgets, and resources, while guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality automotive solutions.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of embedded software experience.
• Experience in managing embedded programs.
• Familiar with ISO 26262 and ASPICE standards.
• Ability to elicit and translate requirements into user stories and technical specs.
• Strong communication and leadership across cultures and time zones.

Responsibilities

Product Owner

14+ years Experience in embedded SW development and managing Embedded programs

Your role

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into actionable user stories and technical requirements
• Familiarity with industry standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, etc) and regulations.
• Understanding of quality assurance processes
• Define and maintain product backlogs
• Experience in concept-to-production development process
• Good product management in Automotive domain
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
• Good Analytical, problem solving, interpersonal skilla with effective communication and presentation ability.
• Defining timelines, budgets, and resource allocations for automotive projects.
• Identifying and mitigating risks in product development
• Working effectively with international teams, often across time zones and cultures
• Strong interpersonal skills for understanding and managing team dynamics
• Staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations in the automotive sector.
• Experience in configuration management
• Soft Skills Excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Optional Skills

• Working Experience in Gateway/Zonal Controller product will be an added advantage
• Working Experience in BCM will be an added advantage
• Working Experience in PEPS/PAKM will be an added advantage
• Working Experience in V2X will be added advantage
