Job summary

Acesoft Labs in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior ECAD PCB Librarian / ECAD Component Specialist to join our Hyderabad-based team. The ideal candidate will lead ECAD symbol creation using Cadence tools and ensure accurate pin types and metadata.

You will work with hardware and mechanical teams, validate schematics with Checkplus, maintain EDM/Pulse libraries, and drive IPC/JEDEC-compliant quality. 5+ years of ECAD library development required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of ECAD library development experience.
• Proficiency with Cadence Allegro, EDM/Pulse, and System Capture.
• Ability to create logical and physical symbols and perform pin mapping.
• Knowledge of DFM/DFA, IPC, and JEDEC constraints.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage ECAD symbols using Cadence EDM/Allegro, defining pin types, properties and metadata.
• Interpret datasheets and enable automated schematic validation using Schematic Audit (Checkplus).
• Troubleshoot ECAD symbol issues and maintain EDM/Pulse libraries and process documentation.
• Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, and simulation teams to ensure consistency across system designs.
• Drive quality compliance based on IPC, JEDEC and internal standards.
• Support DFM/DFA reviews and propose improvements to library development workflows.

About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior ECAD PCB Librarian / ECAD Component Specialist to join our Hyderabad-based team. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of Cadence tools , a deep understanding of ECAD symbol creation , and hands-on experience with DFM/DFA best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage ECAD smart symbols using Cadence EDM/Allegro , accurately defining pin types, pin properties, and metadata.
• Interpret component datasheets and enable automated schematic validation using Schematic Audit (Checkplus).
• Troubleshoot ECAD symbol issues and maintain EDM/Pulse libraries and process documentation.
