Job summary

ALPLA Group in India invites a seasoned professional to lead extrusion blow moulding operations, ensuring on-time production and high quality. You will plan monthly schedules, review weekly performance, and guide shop-floor teams to optimize resources and reduce waste.

The role requires deep knowledge of EBM processes, GMP/5S compliance, and strong root cause analysis to sustain safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of work experience in a relevant field is preferred.
• Strong technical expertise in Extrusion Blow Moulding processes, machines and moulds.
• Understand production planning, capacity utilization, OEE, productivity and process optimization.
• Knowledge of GMP/5S, safety, and statutory requirements.
• Experience in manpower planning, shift management and shop-floor operations.
• Strong root cause analysis, problem solving and continuous improvement capability.
• Experience in cost control, scrap reduction, and material optimization.

Responsibilities

• Achieve production schedules to meet sales plan.
• Plan production on a monthly basis and review weekly.
• Direct plant floor activities to improve utilization of resources.
• Maintain Net Effective Efficiency (NEE) at agreed levels.
• Ensure optimum consumption of RM/MB/PM as per CTO targets.
• Monitor production and address quality issues with a systematic approach.
• Lead root cause investigations for manufacturing deviations.
• Plan manpower and shifts in coordination with HR for requirements.
• Ensure GMP and 5S on the shop floor; promote safety and zero accidents.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement 5S and operations best practices.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to keep machines in good condition and achieve OEE/NEE targets.

What You Will Enjoy Doing

• Achieve production schedules to meet sales plan
• Production planning on monthly basis and weekly review.
• Manage and direct the plant floor activities to improve utilization of all company resources such as material, labour and equipment.
• Maintain NEE at agreed levels
• Ensure optimum consumption of RM/ MB/ PM as per CTO Targets
• Monitors production and proactively responds to all quality issues through a systematic approach
• Provide guidance and leadership on root cause analysis investigations for non-conformances that are the direct result of manufacturing deviations
• Planning for Manpower and Shift schedule to achieve the Production plan and coordinate with HR Dept. for Manpower requirement
• Effective Utilization of Manpower, discipline, uniform, caps, protective equipment etc on the shop floor.
• Communicating with Maintenance department on daily basis to keep the machine in good condition to achieve targeted OEE and NEE.
• Ensure implementation of GMP and maintain the 5S on shop floor.
• Target to reduce wastage.
• Promote Safety culture and ensure Safety rules and behaviours are respected in each section of Plant & to ensure Zero accident environment in plant.
• Keep personal costs within budget.
• Ensure implementation of all Operations controlling & 5S good practices in Plant.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through high quality, reliability and consistency of orders
• Assure culture of continuous improvement through the application of Operations Process Excellence methodologies.
• Training needs identification & ensure the inputs with coordination of HRD.
• Define performance measures and objectives for the process after discussing with Head of Department in alignment with Plant KPI.

What makes you great

• CIPET / B.E. / B.Tech. / Diploma in Plastics, Mechanical
• 12–15-year work experience in a relevant field preferred.
