Job summary

Skynet Placements & Outsourcing Services is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in Pune to lead selection and design of HT systems, breakers, transformers, LV PCC, MCC, PDB, starters, and power and control cables. You will also develop single-line drawings, motor schematics and PLC panels with site support during erection and commissioning.

Responsibilities include procurement input, bid reviews, SAP, review of loop drawings, and ensuring standardization across multi-project outputs while

Responsibilities

• Selection & design of HT system, Breakers, Transformers, LV PCC, MCC, PDB, starters, heaters, power & control cables, cable tray, conduiting & tray work, Lighting, Lightning system, earthing system, motors, VFD, Heat tracing etc
• Electrical system design calculations, Single line drawings, Motor Schematics.
• PLC panels, local panels, starter panel, Junction box, Remote IO box design
• Support Detailed Design work related to above as required.
• Preparation of equipments requisition for procurement, bid reviews, SAP.
• Other responsibilities not limited to, but also include -
• Study the project specifications & requirements and implementation in design.
• Review of Loop drawings & Cable block diagram
• Checking and correcting drawings provided by designers.
• Maintain conceptual and practices consistencies in the output.
• Preparation and planning of work for multi projects execution and maintain consistency in concepts and practices in the output.
• Always strive towards standardization of output deliverables.
• Undertake specialized assignments as assigned.
• Adhere to all schedules for completion of deliverables not limited by office timings and take full ownership to complete those by getting all required inputs from all concerned.
• Communication with the customers, cross functions and AIC
• Attend the customer / vendor interface meetings
• Site support during erection and commissioning at site as required
• Attend customer / vendors interface meetings.
