Assistant Manager - Sales

Location: Asia India, Pune Lonikand

Tasks

• Excellent in RFQ management: preparation of quotations & cost break‑up; price negotiation with customers
• Coordination with internal departments (engineering, purchase, project management) for sales‑related commercial activities.
• Techno‑commercial knowledge of wiring harness (preferred).
• Determine price increases based on Cu LME, FX, RM prices from customers.
• Sales budget preparation.
• Responsible for achieving the budgeted sales.
• Customer payment recovery activities; price increase‑price decrease, supplementary invoices—debtors.
• Sales documentation: MIS report, PO history, customer docket, Grow‑LIST, One‑pager, ECN history, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Indian automotive market, Tier 1 customers and EV market.
• Customer communication skill.
• SAP‑SD module proficiency.

Job Requirements

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree / MBA.
• Knowledge of RFQ process, minimum level of product costing & new customer penetration.
• Commercial knowledge and ability to handle independently & interact with Tier 1 automobile customers and negotiate.
• Sound knowledge of technical presentation, reviews & discussion with customer.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to build rapport.
• Time management and planning skills.
• Experience in automotive / wiring harness industry sales & marketing.
