Job summary

KSB is seeking a Deputy Manager (Electrical) at Khandala MIDC, Satara, Maharashtra. The candidate will lead HT motor manufacturing projects, coordinate with suppliers and customers, and ensure documentation, testing, and compliance requirements are met.

With 12+ years in HT motors and exposure to HV standards, you will drive cross-functional teams, review QCPs, and ensure timely project execution across production and purchasing functions.

Qualifications

• BE in Electrical, preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of HT motor manufacturing experience.
• Experience in handling customers and suppliers in project contexts.
• Knowledge of HV motor winding and testing.
• Familiarity with certifications like ATEX, PESO, IECEx.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer specifications for High Voltage motors and allied systems for LUV, Thermal power, Refineries projects.
• Prepare detailed motor manufacturing and testing documentation.
• Track and monitor projectwise motor inhouse manufacturing plan with production and purchase coordination.
• Coordinate with suppliers for machining, lamination fitment, data sheets, and verification of compliances/deviations.
• Ensure readiness of motor test setup for inhouse testing as per procedure.
• Interact with external labs for special motor tests.
• Collaborate with suppliers, internal QA, and lead project manager on the QCP.
• Review and approve supplier documents for customer submissions and approvals.
• Monitor QCP and coordinate with suppliers for inspection witness points.

Job Location: Khandala MIDC, Phase-II, Village Kesurdi, Tal.- Khandala, Dist.- Satara, Maharashtra.

Designation: Deputy Manager

Department: Assembly ( Production)

Formal education: BE - Electrical preferred

Professional experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in HT Motor manufacturing & handling customers & suppliers in project.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Understanding Customers specification of High Voltage motors & allied systems for LUV, Thermal power, Refineries projects, etc.
• Preparation of detail Motor manufacturing & testing documentation
• Tracking & monitoring of project wise motor inhouse manufacturing plan, ensuring for timely execution by close co-ordination with Production and purchase dept.
• Co-ordination with suppliers for machining, Stator / Rotor lamination fitment, technical documents as per data sheets, verification of compliances/deviations, in terms of electrical / mechanical construction & performance parameters
• Ensuring for readiness of Motor test set-up to carry out inhouse testing as per procedure
• Interaction with external Labs for special Motor tests
• Interaction with suppliers, internal Quality department & Lead project manager, for review of project Quality Control Plan (QCP)
• Internally reviewing & approving suppliers documents (with any customization if required) for submission to the customer and interaction with the customer & supplier for timely approval
• Monitoring QCP & visiting suppliers for KSBs inspection witness points as required during manufacturing & getting necessary timely clearances/approvals after review of inspection documents.
• Knowledge related to HT motor winding process & Testing
• Knowledge of various Motor certifications like ATEX, PESO, IECEx

• Relevant experience in handling projects of similar nature in a pump industry is preferred
